Received the ASHOKA INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP, Virginia, U.S.A. (1990) for promotion & prevention of mental health problems, anti drug programs and drug detoxification camps.
Visited United States of America from 3rd. April to 2nd. Of May (4 weeks) 1990 on invitation from the Governor of U.S.A. through U.S.I.S. The reason for visit was to exchange views on drug abuse.
Two oral papers were presented at the International Congress of World Psychiatric Association at Florence, Italy, November 10 – 13, 2004.
Four Posters were presented at the XIII World Congress of Psychiatry held at Cairo, Egypt from September 10 – 15, 2005.
One Abstract has been selected for publication in the ECCO 13 abstract book of the European Journal of Cancer Supplement (EJC). Paris 30th Oct 2005 to 3rd Nov 2005.

Policy Maker at The National Level

Nominated by the Prime Minister of India to be in the advisory board for National Youth Forum from Eastern India to make youth policies for the nation along with other Central & State level dignitaries. In that meeting held at Parliament House, New Delhi, a written resolution has been passed by the house to make a Mental Health Committee which will make new policies on Mental Health and Drug Abuse in our country and implement through the National Youth Forum throughout the Nation. Previously there was no such Mental Health Committee for the youth at the national level.
